Mike Knockenhauer

Mike is a founding partner and the Chief Executive of V/SPEED. His eclectic and purposeful work history is the basis for conceiving the possibilities unlocked by connecting otherwise disparate industries and regulatory environments.

A hands-on executive, particularly with the flight and meteorology teams, he hits the launch button on all V/SPEED missions. He can easily be found on location, leading briefings on the ground or building shots and flight plans onboard a camera ship itself while in flight.

His experience as a pilot allows him to facilitate communication between the flight deck and photography teams, and brings an additional element of situational awareness for operations in close proximity to terrain, severe weather, or high density airspace.
